Mike has and continues to serve the community in a variety of roles including his current roles as a Board Member of the, Tarrant Work force Development Board, Roundup for Autism, Arlington Children’s Toys, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County, The Arlington Police Foundation, and Advisory Board Member of the Green Oaks School. With over 30 years of banking experience, he has a strong background helping businesses grow and achieve their goals.Ī native Texan, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Baylor University in 1985. Which is why he continues to serve on the Arlington Police Foundation. Which if you ask any of his kids, they will tell you she is his favorite! Besides his family, Tim also has a passion for helping the police and making sure they have everything they need to keep safe. Tim is the father to 4 children (1-girl and 3-boys) and 1-granddaughter that he shares a birthday with. Tim's greatest passion though is his family. In his home town of Azle where he lives, Tim is a member of the Azle ISD School Board, the Police Advisory Board and the Crime Control Prevention District Board of the Azle Police Department. and board member of the Texas Funeral Directors Assoc. He is a member of his local Rotary group, President of the North Texas Chapter of the Texas Funeral Directors Assoc. Besides the Arlington Police Foundation, Tim is also involved in many other organizations. He has been a foundation member since 2015. He has been with the company for almost 25 years starting out as the courier. Typically we have clients see a dietitian each week to work on nutrition stabilization while psychologists target exposures to both OCD symptoms and eating disorder symptoms.Tim is the Vice-President/Director in Charge of Greenwood Funeral Homes in Fort Worth and previously Arlington. We have a team of 5 dietitians on our staff who we work closely with and how are specialized in the treatment of eating disorders. We often work with individuals with a co-occuring diagnosis of eating disorders. We have a diverse staff including individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and those who identify as South Asian and Black therapists. We also have two metro-accessible physical office locations in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA. The majority of our clinicians are also part of PSYPACT and so we can, therefore, virtually see clients in over 30 states across the country. A subsect of our providers who specialize in OCD also specialize in eating disorders which can often be a complex comorbid diagnosis that accompanies OCD. The therapists who treat OCD also are trained in habit reversal training for BFRBs. We primarily use ERP, but also draw upon CBT, ACT, and mindfulness based approaches when necessary. We are an outpatient clinic of licensed clinical psychologists specializing in the treatment of OCD amongst children, adolescents, and adults.
